Abbey & Carter’s wedding day was going to be different than my other weddings. Abbey is my cousin and I’ve known her since well, forever. To see her face light up anytime we got together to talk wedding or just the fact she was marrying Carter was enough to make my heart explode.
Going into Abbey & Carter’s wedding day I already knew it was going to be off the charts stunning & amazing. These two thought of every single detail of their day. Starting the day at Abbey’s parent’s place to shoot details everyone was relaxed, having fun and truly enjoying the day. When Abbey had her first look with her dad I don’t think anyone was prepared for that moment. His reaction – stole my heart. Anytime I see those photos I just can’t. So amazing.
Another favorite moment of the day was at Carter’s getting ready portraits. When he pulled out the cigar I knew all of those images would be in black and white. I love a good, classy groom portrait!
From the vows shared with their loved ones present in the grand Holy Rosary Cathedral, shooting at the Fire Hall where Carter works as a firefighter, the sparkler exit shots – I mean I can go on but these photos will speak for themselves. They owned their wedding day in every way! The classic car you will see in the photos also made an appearance during their engagement photos! This car is a family heirloom and I have loved documenting these special mementos for Abbey & Carter.
This Regina Fall wedding was classy, elegant and off the charts amazing. It was truly an honor to document all of these special moments for two very special people in my life.
