When I first met Tayler, she was a bridesmaid for a wedding I was shooting. She gave a toast at the wedding and mentioned her then boyfriend Ed in the speech. I was excited to get her email the following year telling me her and Ed would be getting married the summer of 2023. It’s always great when someone from a past wedding party reaches out to me because they already kind of know me – yes even the awkward parts!
Tayler gets the award for the most amazingly, organized bride. My brides are very organized but she was next-level amazing. She had everything planned so perfectly (yes, Ed, I know you helped too). Not only was she a stunning bride, but her organization shined through on their wedding day. Ed will forever go be the groom that made me laugh the most. He’s a true genuine, funny dude. The faces he gave while they cut their cake had me doubled over while I edited them. Watch for those in this blog post!
Lastly, Yoda – their golden retriever. He was a 5-month-old puppy at their engagement shoot (so adorable) and he was their ring bearer at their wedding. I will say he nailed it! And may have stolen the show for a few moments. They’ve now added a second golden retriever Chewy to their family! I will forever say, I love when my couples include their fur babies in these milestones. It takes time and patience but it’s worth it.
