There’s something truly special about witnessing new parents in their first few days with their little one. Jessica and Cody’s newborn session was filled with love, emotion, and pure joy as they soaked in these early moments with their baby girl.
From the moment they arrived, I could tell how much this tiny bundle of joy had already changed their world. Jessica was the sweetest with Blayke, holding her close and cherishing every little detail. There were a few tearful moments throughout the session, and honestly, how could there not be? Becoming parents is such a life-changing experience—one that fills your heart with a love so deep you never knew existed.
And then there’s Cody, the ultimate girl dad. He even had a hoodie with “Girl Dad” on it, which made for the sweetest daddy-daughter photos. Watching him hold his little girl, so full of pride, was truly heartwarming. You could just see how much he already adores her.
These two teachers love their sports including football and softball. I can just see little Blayke cheering them on from the sidelines as they each coach in these sports.
This session was such a joy to capture, and I loved getting to know this sweet family. I can’t wait to see these two again when they come in for Blayke’s milestone session!
