When I met with Andrea and Ben over coffee, I immediately knew their spring Regina wedding would be a beautiful celebration filled with love and joy. Their wedding day was like none I’ve photographed before.
Regina Spring Wedding
The weather on their wedding day was perfect, even though it was calling for a 90% chance of rain. As we watched through the day for weather updates it was such a relief to see Mother Nature pulling through for Andrea & Ben. They timed their spring wedding day perfectly to take advantage of the cherry blossoms in full bloom around Regina.
Andrea and Ben included a traditional Chinese tea ceremony as part of their wedding celebration. During the ceremony, they served tea to their elders and family members. I think it’s a beautiful way to honour their cultural heritage and show appreciation for their loved ones. Andrea wore her mom’s traditional dress to the Tea Ceremony. Her mom passed away before she was able to wear it and Andrea wore in her honour. Photographing a traditional Chinese Tea Ceremony was a first for me. I was honoured they trusted me to document this special moment.
Andrea and Ben’s wedding was a beautiful representation of who they are as individuals and as a couple. It’s truly inspiring to see couples who prioritize their vision and stay true to themselves on their special day.
