I’m a wedding and newborn photographer located in Echo Lake, SK. I love the simple, every day moments and look for gratitude in the every day. My husband, kids and my two dogs are my world! My love for coffee is strong and my obsession for pumpkin spice lattes is a little over the top. Documenting connection and moments is why I love what I do! I believe that the only way we can savor these life moments is through photos. It’s something that can be passed on to generations and leave as part of our legacy. Photographing and preserving your life moments – big and small – brings me joy!

WHAT TO EXPECT –

I’ve been right where you are and I know how overwhelming it can be to think of photos as a family and especially after having a baby. This is why I take all the overwhelm away and ensure you receive a relaxing and stress-free experience.
If you’re looking for a full-service experience in a welcoming space, I can ensure you will receive this from a fellow mama who values the importance of documenting this season of your life.
LOCATION
Regardless of location – this session will represent you, your family and your little ones. I work with every client to match the perfect location for you. Weather dependent, outdoor locations can be used from April to October. Studio sessions are customized prior to you arriving with color selections and props.
WARDROBE & STYLING
Gone are the days of “matchy matchy”! Instead of everyone wearing the same shade of a color think about what accent colors will compliment and coordinate. Have fun with textures as well! Start with 1 outfit and build the remaining outfits from there. Choosing a simple pattern for one person and pulling colors from that outfit will give you a well styled look. There is a selection of outfits from the client closet for mama and littles. Every session booked receives a questionnaire and selections can be made during your customized styling.

THE SESSION
The main goal for every session is for my clients to feel relaxed and just have some fun. If you’re worried about pressures of where to put your hands, where to look and how to stand – please don’t stress for one more minute! I will guide you through the whole session. Newborn sessions are baby led – we stop when they want for snuggles and feedings. Milestone sessions are also led by your little and scheduled during their happy time. I look so forward to meeting each one of you and documenting these life moments!
DELIVERY
Your top images chosen will be uploaded to your proofing online gallery with 1 week of your session. You will have the option to upgrade your gallery if you choose. Once you’ve made your selection each image will be hand edited and delivered within 2 weeks.
KEEPSAKES
Each product offered has been handpicked with heirloom quality as a priority. I’m not only passionate about these products but nothing excites me more than my clients having tangible items from their sessions. Your family will be able to enjoy these keepsake albums and handmade wood photo wall art for many years.
CHERISHED MEMORIES
At the end of the day all we will have left are photos. Whether you’re booking a session because of a life milestone or just to document where you are as a family right now – it all deserves to be captured. Life moves so darn fast, kids grow and change in the blink of an eye and moments pass. Mama’s I urge you to get in these photos. I know from experience I avoided getting in them with my kiddos and I just knew the importance of documenting these memories. I am here always to chat and I can’t wait to plan this session with you.

This session focuses on family connection as well as mama to perfectly document this milestone providing a full gallery of timeless images. Maternity portraits are suggested around 29-36 weeks when your body takes a wonderful pregnancy shape.

LIFESTYLE NEWBORN
This relaxed session focuses on the authentic connection between you and your new little one. The style is unposed, natura and timeless with a studion set up ready for snuggles. Sessions can take place anytime from 5 days old up to 2 months old capturing all the tiniest details.

2 hour session in studio
Wraps, bonnets, blankets and props provided
Customized styling prior to your session
Access to the Client Wardrobe (currently available to Mama’s)
Parent, sibling and family posing included
20 digital images of your choice

milestone
Simple & classic set ups provided put the focus on your little one – preserving these milestones with authentic and timeless images to display around your home. Milestone sessions can be captured at any time during their first year. The most popular times are 3 months, 6 months (sitting unassisted) and 12 months.

cake smash
Celebrating your one year old’s birthday with a cake smash is the perfect way to mark this milestone.
Includes:
1 hour session in studio or on location (weather dependent)

1-2 set ups of formal photos before the smash starts

Bubble bath after the smash

Parents are responsible for providing the cake

Every family has a unique story, personality, vibe and connection – these sessions are all about documenting that. I love to capture families being goofy, playing, snuggling and connecting!

WARDROBE STYLING
WHAT TO WEAR
As you think about your color palette, imagine your family being one complete piece of artwork. Each person/outfit will bring together a feeling for formality and coordination. Instead of everyone wearing the same shade of blue – think about what accent colors will compliment and coordinate. You don’t need to be “matchy” but use colors that work well together. It’s best to start with one person’s outfit and build the remining outfits from there. Choosing a simple pattern for one person and pulling colors from there is also a great option. It’s best to avoid super busy patterns, logos or sayings and florescent colors (this will cast colors onto your skin). Also, don’t forget about your feet! Worn out shoes or shoes that just don’t flow with the outfit could make all your wardrobe efforts go to waste. Lastly, wear something you’re able to move around in and what makes you feel your best.
CLIENT CLOSET
The priority for my boutique style studio is to offer client closet options for both mama and baby. Gowns for mom are available from maternity to post partum. Outfits for the littles are available from newborn to 1 year. Selections can be made during your customized styling prior to the session.
